system32.exe

When i boot my pc it runs very sluggish, when i hit
control alt delete and click on process it shows
system32.exe using 99% cpu usage. when i click on it and
select end process everything works fine. can i delete
this or how do i fix it.

Windows XP does not need the "system32.exe file" because
it is actually a "virus file". It's about time to give serious
consideration to installing a good antivirus program!

Remove remnants of KWBot.Worm from the Registry and File System
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_clean_kwbot.htm

This worm causes an error message that "CMD32.EXE" cannot be found on startup.
The error message may also be that "system32.exe" cannot be found.

Note: You'll have to disable your antivirus program before running the repair.
