everytime I start XP I get an error message to effect of "system32.exe has encountered a problem and must close" I ok that and my PC runs fine
Also I seem to be getting a random non detection of mouse and keyboard. Not sure if the two problems are related?

Remove remnants of KWBot.Worm from the Registry and File System
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_clean_kwbot.htm
This VB Script will the common Registry entries and files created by the
KWBot.Worm. This worm causes an error message that "CMD32.EXE" cannot be found
on startup. The error message may also be that "system32.exe" cannot be found

System32.exe is not a Windows file, but is one of several
viruses. Go to http://www.symantec.com/search/ and do a search on
it for more information.
