System32.exe error message

At the logon screen after an account is chosen and the
screen says it is loading, nothing happens, the only way
to get onto the account is to ctrl alt del. After that I
get a meesage saying windows cannot find or load
system32.exe. I have just managed to delete a trojan
(IRC/Backdoor.SdBot) and i think that that was one of the
infected files. Any body got any advice?

you will need to remove the reference for this virus:-

and do a clean up using Doug Knox's script.
