I have a strange problem with restarting Windows XP.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it's a hardware or a
software problem.
I am using a notebook computer (HP Pavilion) as a desktop
computer (i.e. the notebook cover is closed and I am
using an external mouse, keyboard and monitor.)
In Windows XP when I click 'Turn off the Computer' and
then 'Restart', instead of restarting automatically, it
just shuts down. This is a pain because I have to open up
the notebook and press the power button to get it booted
again. It should just restart by itself.
Like I said, maybe it's a hardware problem, but I do not
know for sure so I am posting it here.
Any suggestions?
