Hello.
I have a HDD with 240GB (3 partitions: C: (Windows, 60GB), D: (Disc2), E:
(Disc3)).
When I scan my local disk E with "Windows Defender", i see in "Objects" area
something like that: "System Volume Information\_restore{ bla
bla}\RP71\A0009578.exe bla bla" or "Recycler\ bla bla \ Adobe Photoshop bla
bla\" or "System Volume Information\_restore{ bla bla }\ bla bla \
CounterStrike bla bla " or other games and applications what was on this
partition in the past when i was running Windows XP... (now Vista)

What represents that things? What is wrong, i delete that things along time
ago, but there apears... :|

I believe if you turn off Sytem Restore and reboot they will be gone. Then
restart System Restore. All restore points will be deleted.

The System Volume Information folder contains two things:
1. Your system restore points, which are snapshots of relevant parts of your
computer at certain points in time
2. The search index

You can delete the restore points in the System Control Panel, and you can
change the Indexing options in the Indexing Options Control Panel.
