Remove the icons from the tray and delete the shortcuts that partain to the
program.
Take the sharing rights away for anyone using that folder or directory.

Some remote control applications have the option to run it
completely invisible, and it can only be seen in Task
Manager, which can be locked down using Group Policy. It
really depends on the application vendor whether or not
this is available to you. pcAnywhere and Netbus can run
invisibly, I'm not sure of others. Do you need remote
administration or just screencapping? Comverse can run
hidden, but it will only allow screencaps, there is no
interaction possible that I am aware of.

I am having issues with users closing icons in the system
tray. One of those icons allows me to administer the
computers remotely, but if they close it -- I cannot
restart it remotely if they are on a wireless system due
to encryption. Is there a way from preventing users from
selecting "Exit or Close" from third party icons in the
system tray?
