Hi...My computer froze up yesterday, and I had to turn
the power off while windows was running to get it to work
again. When windows restarted the system tray at the
right of my task bar decided that it doesn't want to
expand. I checked the processes, and all the programs
that normally run in the task bar are still running...I
just can't access them cause the little arrow is not
displayed which allows you to expand the hidden icon's.
I tried unchecking the "hide inactive icons" box in the
taskbar properties, but that didn't make any difference.
I also ran Chkdsk to see if something may have gotten
corrupted when I re-started the computer after the
freeze, but Chkdsk came up with no errors. I'm wondering
if possibly replacing the systray.exe file from my winxp
disk might fix the problem?
Thanks for any help you can give me!
