Hi all.

Ok, so anybody know a fix for the following annoyance?

Very often, if a print job doesn't start normally (paper out, printer
offline, etc) -- or gets interrupted for whatever reason --, a red "?"
appears embedded in the printer icon in the system tray...

If I cancel (or restart) the job(s), or restart the printer spooler
(carefully deleting any leftover SPL & SHD files), this icon remains
visible, with the red "?".

The only way I know how to get rid of this is killing all EXPLORER.EXE
processes, or logging off and on again.

Surely there *must* be a better way...

Any input greatly appreciated!

Right click the printer
Select Refresh

When the explorer process gets out of sync with the spooler, you will see
this.

Report this as a bug (I did), the more squeak, the faster the fix.
