Put a shortcut in the startup folder, right click on it and select
Properties. You'll have the option to open it in a Normal Window, Minimized
or Maximized. Select whichever you prefer.
To put it in the Startup folder open Windows Explorer, go to C:\Documents
and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Start Menu\Startup. Put a shortcut to the
program in there.
To the taskbar -- like you would see if you opened Word (for example), then
just minimized it while You did something else for a moment.
I think Mike may have answered my question, but thank you both for taking
the time to respond! I know know a lot of these questions must seem very
foolish to those who know what they are doing.
