system tray Icon

I have installed WD on about 7 machines now and I find that the system tray
icon is a bit hit or miss wether it will be displayed or not, now on my pc it
has stoped showing altogher! Does this mean I am not proctected unless Io run
the program and leave it open??
 
Oddly enough I feel more comfortable having the icon in the tray.

What is the name of the proccess I should be looking for to know that WD is
running?
Is there a way to turn the icon on at all times?

I agree with you, Tom, that I would feel more comfortable having the icon in
the tray. It would be nice to have a choice of being able to turn the icon
on.

We hear your feedback loud and clear =) we plan to add an option in the
future to display the icon for those who want to see that it's "there"
