Even after reinstall of Intel's program, I am unable to
retain Intel's motherboard "Active Monitor" (temperature
and fan speed)in the System Tray, where it belongs. Intel
techs say this is a Microsoft problem.
 
Try another call to Intel and you'll probably get a different support tech.
I'm running an Intel D845PEBT2 mobo and it runs the software under WinXP,
then later XPSP1 just fine.
