System Tray Date

Hello,

The system tray in W2000 displays the time for users. I
am wondering if there is a way to add the date to this
display. I realize that one can see the date by hovering
over the time with the mouse, but we would like to display
the date at all times. We are trying to discourage users
from downloading software that does this, as much of it
has adware and spyware embedded in it. So, such free
software is not an option; we want to do this with what is
provided in W2000, if possible.

I'll second Phil's recommendation and point out that if you want to
display the date, an add-on is the only solution. It can't be done with
Win2K alone.
