System Too Slow during shut down and start up

Hi, guys!

Thanks for the help when I was frequently receiving blue screens. I
reinstalled win2k prof, clean install, and so far the system is ok except
that it is too slow during shut down and start up. Any Ideas to fix this?
Please help. Thanks again!

Maximum retries to unload and update user profile ...

set enabled and to say 5 ... default if not configured is 60!!
