I know older version of Windows used a swap file for
miscellaneous memory needs. For example - Windows 98 had
a file called c:\windows\win386.swp
Can someone tell me how Windows XP handles swap space? Is
a generic file used and retained like in older OS versions
or is swap space used and returned to the syetm when no
longer needed?
Thanks,
Tom
