Tom

I keep getting a message "This operation has been canceled
due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please
contact your systems administrator" when I am going into
the tools to adjust settings. This is a home computer and
we do not know where the password is or who put it in.
Can we reload internet explorer and take the other one off
without loosing all our favorites and outlook express?

Hi Tom,

No need to reload IE. See: Restrictions error while opening Internet Options
