System Summary - Last Scan

My System Summary tells me that my last scan was on
December 30th. 1899 at 00.00.00.!!!!
Computer date and clock are correct and last scan was
13/06/2005.

1) check the date and time and be certain they are correct.

2) Let me spell this out fully:

Go to Control Panel, Date, Time, Language, and Regional
options.
Choose Regional and Language options

On the Regional Options tab, click on Customize in the
upper right.

Click on the Date tab.

Change both the Short date format and the Long date
format to the topmost choices in each drop-down box.

See whether that does the job for you.

Try an update install to see if this fixes the issue:
control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft
Antispyware, change, update

Computer date is correct BUT in the wrong configuration. Change back to
default settings.

Let us know if Andre's advice does it for you. I'm not certain.

It should do the job, if the issue is simply the date formats, but I'm
unclear whether the program is also "stuck"--i.e. not registering any scans.

If the update install doesn't do the job, the next idea would be uninstall,
delete contents of the installation folder, and then reinstall.
