Hi,
I've programmed a rather robust program to use in our business on an Office
Intranet. If I attempt to edit a form and make even the slightest change,
most times, the whole program ceases to respond. I do the Ctl+Alt+Del thing
(in Windows 2000 Professional) and it shows that Access and the database in
Access is "Not Responding".
At times, while developing the program, I would attempt to start it through
the switchboard, and the entire module for the switchboard had
disappeared..and I had to redo the switchboard.
I also have forms that, when I try to enter something, the system stops
responding. If I delete the form and rebuild it, it will work OK.
I've tried the compact and repair utility, but it does nothing to stop these
occurrences.
Any suggestions? (other than hire a professional programmer :0) )
Thanks for any help you can give me.
