system state back up

I am having trouble to backup system state. I am using Windows XP - Home
Edition, when I tried to backup it says "the backup could not be completed
due to n error." Could anyone advise me how to deal w/ this? .. Thanks

The system registry ... I need to locate those worms/virus on my registry...

The problem is I can't get rid of this home page ...

I am about to follow the step-by-step removal of this virus on

It says there that I need to backup the entire system registry ... w/c I
can't ... the process always failed.
