system standby

I'm getting a message. System standby
Device driver Com 2 is preventing standby. close all apps
then if presist re install driver.

Can;t find the driver online. Any suggestions?
 
What do you mean by "can't find the driver online"? If you mean you can't
find which device is using Comm 2, you should be able to look and see what
you have plugged into it. If you are looking on the internet for a driver
for it, that's not what the message means. Something is using Comm 2, and
the OS can't or won't shut it down...keeping the system from going into
standby. You need to determine what is using Comm 2 and turn it off or
remove it.
