Advice please on the following new and unknown message window which was on
screen after waking desktop. Running WinXP with SP2:

"The device driver for the 'Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2
Keyboard' device is preventing the machine from entering standby. Please
close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need
to update this driver."

Many thanks
Brett

Hi,

Your keyboard driver is corrupt or needs to be updated. Try reinstalling the
one you have, or update it. This can be done by opening Device Manager from
the hardware tab of system properties in the control panel. Double click the
keyboard and use the update driver button on the driver tab. You should
check with the keyboard manufacturer for the latest driver version available
to you, then point the updater to it.
