I installed the Beta about 3 weeks ago, ran weekly sweeps
and just picked up a "positive" for System Spy, a
commercial keylogger (!!). Removed the spyware and now
am getting error messages from a Zavanta demo program I'd
installed in the interim. I'm wondering if the System Spy
is a "false positive" from the Zavanta demo. . .

Why do you call this false positive? It is a keylogger, it spies on users -
it poses threat to valuable and secret information - so it should be picked
up by MSAS. But the removal depends on you - MSAS just suggests the best
action for that threat.

Check the cleaner.log file from \program files\microsoft antispyware to see
what was removed (as the keylogger.) Check those details with the demo
program and its original installation meda, or the vendor.
