system sound

I want to turn down my system sound (mouse click sound) not on the volume
control. If I do that it would turn down (wave & play control) my other
application sounds as well. Is there any other other settings I'm missing so
I can adjust to my system sound other than the Volume control?

You could (perhaps should) disable all windows sounds (which is the
wise things to do, since the sounds are so very anoying). Control
panle > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sounds > Sound Scheme > No Sounds,
Done.
