System slow down

I have a large website that, when opened in FrontPage 2002, it constantly
slows down my system. When it does so it seems to be reindexing or
something, as it says "loading ..." something or other in the lower left
corner of the window.

Does anyone know what is happening or how I can keep this from happening
while I'm working on web pages?

If on you local PC, disable Index Service if running Windows XP.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

Thomas,

I think that may have been it. I had to enable it once to do some online
map searches a while back.

Once I stop the indexing service, will it remain off if I reboot the system?

Thanks,

It should remain off until you turn it back on.
