I need some help with a little/big Problem.

When I click on my C: drive folder to expand it I get an error message
saying:

"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem & needs to shut down."

Here is the Error Signature:

"AppName: explorer.exe; AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName:
incinerator.dll; ModVer: 0.0.0.0 ; Offset: 0005ba72"

It says the following file will accompany the report:
"C:\DOCUME~1\BRUCEL~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\c996_appcompat.txt"

When I click on close to close the error message & send it on to Microsoft
it shuts down all my windows and takes away my whole taskbar. Clock & start
menu everything.

I have run Adaware & SpyBot, and Norton so could it still be a virus? Any
ideas?

Thanks for any help

Bruce

Explorer.exe runs all the time. Among other things it provides the shell
(environment) for Windows. So the filename in the error message that needs
attention is "incinerator.dll." It belongs to "System Mechanic." How to fix
a problem with that program's file, is information that needs to come from
System Mechanic's tech support.
