System Shutdown

Hello,

I use windows xp and am experiencing infrequent problem
when on the internet. I receive a message saying "NT
Authority System Shutdown" and then my computer shuts down
after 1 minute. Does anyone know how I can resolve this?
Is it a virus?

Most likely the unprotected computer caught Sasser or Blaster:
