After the updates came down today, anytime I open MSAS I get System Scripter
5.0 trying to install inself.

Anyone seen this before? Is MS using this tool as part of MSAS?

I checked the services that launched with MSAS and this is not one of them.
I would recommend sending Spyware Report, Tools > Spyware Report. Also,
restart your computer in safe mode and run a full system scan.

Sounds like another Windows Installer snafu. I said that once before today
and was probably wrong, though!

If you know where to find System Scripter--the quickest fix is probably to
install it, and then, if you don't want it on your system, uninstall it.

If you have trouble with that set of operations, there's the Windows
Installer cleanup app:

Yes, I thinks its an installer issue.
I repaired System Scripter 5.0 then uninstalled it.

The only worry is I don't recall installing it in the first place
But I put so much crap on this system I often forget whats installed

Could be something that got started installing and you said Whoa--and killed
it. Then again, you might remember that. Glad you knew where to find it
anyway.
