For no apparent reason when I try to add a new appointment to the calendar
the system says that the form is not available and to contact my
administrator. As I am the only user I don't know what to do. Updating from
my PDA doesn't work either.

Without the exact error message nor your version of outlook, here is a generic answer.

Repair your forms cache. Tools->Options->Other->Advanced->Manage Forms.

After furious head scratching, Highrevving asked:

Thanks for the info. I got the same unhelpful message and was going crazy, reinstalled outlook a couple of times. In my version of Outlook 2002 the sequence was a little different:
Tools->Options->Other->Advanced Options->Custom Forms->Manage Forms
Then I got a box with available forms on the left and forms I'm using on the right. I selected the form "Appointment" on the right then pressed the Clear Cache buttion.

Apparently the problem was that my PDA or Outlook hung during an sync and failed to clear the cache for the Calendar. Milly you saved me. Thanks
