The number of SR points that are available depends on:
The amount of disk space allotted to System Restore - right click My Computer, select Properties and then the SR tab - highlight the appropriate drive and then click on 'Settings' - you can use the slider to increase/decrease the amount of disk space for SR - default is 12%.
The amount of installs/uninstalls that you perform.
If you have less than 200mbs of free space on your hard disk/partition - System Restore will automatically disable itself and will not re-enable until at least 200mbs is again available.
