System Restore??

"System Restore creates a restore point every 24 hours if the computer is turned on, or if it has been 24 hours since the last restore point was created"

Task Scheduler service needs to set to Automatic and running.

As long as you *dont* have a check mark in the box 'turn off syste
restore'
start/help and support/undo changes to your computer using syste
restore/system restore settings, you should be OK to just leave it t
its own devices, the system will set a restore point at any significan
change to your system, ie the installation or removal of programmes
drivers, etc. If you want to manually set a restore point, the onl
time you should need to, is before making such a change to your system
and or if you choose for whatever reason to set system restore to off
this only needs to be done when loading certain patches etc
