System Restore

I have a new compac computer running winxp home..While
playing a game with my three yr old he hit the f10 key and
my system started a system restore now I have lost some
home video's ..is there a way to recover these videos
after the restore..

May be possible using third-party file restoration utilities. STOP using the computer first as it reduces the chances of recovery. Slave the hard disk to another system and run a hard disk data recovery program such as FinalData. Or, contact a PC technician.

I'm not claiming that this will work but what the

heck.Open up system restore and click on undo the last
change.And disable that hotkey
 
Thomas is referring to Compaq's recovery feature and not the Windows XP's system restore.
