System restore

The system restore only has restore points up to the last three months. I
need it to restore to an earlier time, like 5 months ago. It used to be not
like this. I have all the space disk available so it is not due to
availability problem. Does anyone know how to deal with this?

By Default any restore point older than 90 days will be
purged automatically by System Restore.
