Maybe there aren't any older than five days.

The option should be there or not ? as is not shown at all. i am using the
computer since 4 month. why there is no longer file than 5 days??

My system currently has only two restore points (happened yesterday)
and there is no box offered.

Try to manually set a restore point to see if it's working.

If it works, leave your computer on for a day or so and see if it sets
another restore point on its own. It is supposed to do it once a
day, but if you don't keep it on long enough and are using it heavily
when it is on, it may not get the opportunity to set a point.

Because not showing Restore Points older than 5 days is by design.

On the Choose restore point screen, select your restore point from the menu.
Select the "Show Restore Points Older Than 5 Days" box. After selecting
your restore point, select the Next button to continue.

Please note that restoring much past a few days or a week is not
recommended. What problem are you trying to solve with a System Restore?
Perhaps there is a better way.
