system restore

My system restore is giving me an error message saying that
theaccess point ro something like that is not finding a
certain executable file in the dynamic link library. Can
anyone tell me how to straighten this out?

1. In My Computer, click the Tools menu -> Folder
Click to expand...
Options.
2. On the View tab, make sure to check the option "Hide
extensions for known file types".
3. Click OK.
4. Click the Start menu -> Run. Type "%windir%\inf"
(without the quotes) in the box and click OK.
5. Go to Search/files and folders and locate and select
the file "sr.inf" in C:\Windows\INF. Right-click it and
then click Install.

Works great, system restore should be back on, if anyone
else has the same problem try it.
