Is this function not available in Win2K? I can't find it.
It is nice to have in WinME and WinXP.

This is a WinXP feature and is not available in Win2000.

No, it's not available with Windows 2000. It was designed and made
available with operating systems released after Windows 2000.

It isn't directly available. However if you choose the option to back up
your 'system state' with NTBackup, it pretty well works out in a similar
way. I've used this myself when my system became corrupted and it worked
out fine.

It is available in Windows ME, which came before Win2K...
It seems that WinXP combines the best features of both with additional
improvements. I am trying to familiarize myself with most operating systems.
I fix computers.
But this is the first time I got a Win2K computer.

Win2k is a very basic stable os, which doesn't have the bells and
whistles that XP has, although both os are based on windows NT. It
replaced NT4. It is mainly aimed at business use, although the domestic
user can easily use it too. AFAIK Win ME is an upgraded version of
Win98, aimed at domestic users but has proven rather unsatisfactory, the
chief complaint being its instability.
