The file may damaged or missing from your system try to repair it or install
it.
Try this KB that will help:

I got as far as line 3 in the KB and did not find :framedyn.dll in the
dllcache., so I gave up and here I am reporting back; BUT I DID a search
and found the file in C:|WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386. Dare I?, and
then proceed with the pasting routine in the next phase?

nass said:Hi Herb,
You haven't been clear did you paste the file and given you the message to
tell you do you want to proceed and you said *yes*.
Try to paste the file to this path:
"C:\Windows\System32\Resotre Directory"
You will be prompted click *yes*.
If the file is bad try to download it from here:

I found this file (framedyn.dll) in C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386.
My question is: can I copy it from C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386 and
then proceed with the paste function?.

herbzee said:Hi Nass and Kinney,
I went ahead and copied the 'framedyn' file from
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386
pasted in to where it said, and so far I'm back in business.
Now if I only could find such good answer to my not being able to enter
the BIOS (delete doesn't work)then I'd REALLY be back in business.
Perhaps an earlier restore point will help, now that it's running again.
Thank U all who so kindly responded to my plight.
Cheers-Herb.
