system restore

I just did a system restore and my pc is now restarting on
its own. It flashes a error message on a blue screen, but
then goes right to reboot. It is almost like it never
completed the restore. Does anyone have a clue to why
this is happening. I am a tech and have never seen this
before?

check.Is it posible to have a restore point with a
blaster?I'ld check that first.

I cannot get system restore to open at all. What can I do
now? Appreciate any advice. Can you advise?
