If I go back to a system restore point is data created
after that point deleted (e-mail, word processing docs,
etc)?
 
Good System Restore does not affect data files, like e-mail or word
processing documents. It's purpose is to restore certain key operating
system files to their state at a point in time. If you want to be extra
careful, you can backup your data files before restoring your system.
