System Restore

Hi,
I hope you can help me.
I have had windows xp pro since February this year.
About 3 weeks ago my computer was playing up. I tried to
do a system restore to an earlier date but, it would not
go to the previous month and only shown the date I was on
the computer as a system restore point. I have been
monitoring my computer, and noticed that it creates a
system restore point, then deletes it a couple of days
later. As it stands, there are no system restore points
at the moment. Previously, my computer created system
restore points and there were no problems. I have right
clicked on the MY COMPUTER icon and checked to see if the
system restore is active. To which it is.
I would be grateful if you could help me in this matter.

Andy;
Many things can cause loss of Restore Points, when they are gone, they
are gone and can not be recovered or used.
Some of the things are:
Available space on hard drive
Computer usage
Space you dedicate to System Restore

If you use Real Player, try doing without it for a few days:

ive got a simular prob its a vuris called downloaderdlucaF
in the register i dont know how to get rid of it.
