System Restore

Windows doesn't allow outside programs to edit system
restore, but I've gotten several viruses attached to
files in system restore. Can anyone tell me how to get
in and either delete or clean these files?

Hi

Right click on My Computer, select Properties and then the System restore tab. You will then have to turn SR off, reboot, then re-enable SR and reboot again. SR will then create a new point for you and get rid of any viruses that were in there.

.... I should have added - disabling/re-enabling SR will delete all your SR points, but that is the way to delete viruses from System Restore.
