System Restore, WON'T

I pick a restore point and it goes through the process of
restoring files then after computor restarts it says that
it coud not rstore. I chose different restore points but
nothing works. System resore is turned on.

This can be caused by a corrupt restore file. Easiest solution is to shut down
restore, then restart it. This has an effect of cleaning out the corrupt area.
You in effect start over on the restore points.
 
i have tried to restore my system back to an earlier date but it just wont go anybody help me
