System restore keeps telling me in a message to chose
another date to restore to. No matter how many dates I
try, it does the same thing and it used to work fine?
Help!

Ed;
There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I BELIEVE IT IS DUE TO THE
LATEST WINDOWS UPDATE. I REPAIRED MY CURRENT XP VERSION
UTILIZING THE INSTALL DISC AND THE PROBLME SOLVED. I NOW
NEED TO FIGURE WHICH UPDATES TO RE-INSTLL. I WILL WAIT
TO SEE IF WINDOWS ACKNOWLEDGES THIS PROBLEM FIRST.
