I did something very stupid. I sent Microsoft an error report and got back a
message to go to
http://safety.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm
After running the reg cleaner I can not get the System Restore wizard to
work.
The wizard comes up but when I check the system restore and hit next nothing
happens
I want to restore to an earlier date.
What do I do ?

Thanks

Windows sent you there? I don't think so! Wherever you got that I don't
think it was a Microsoft site - you were duped.

This is a legitimate Microsoft site for Windows One Care

One good thing is that Windows Live Registry cleaner creates an undo file
when cleaning the registry. See the following topic which tells about
"Restoring Registry Keys after a Cleanup"

You're welcome, Harry. There was a discussion about this (2 months ago) in
DTS-L, and that's why I remember this.
