system restore windows XP

i installed a new 120G hard drive on my system. when i
used max blast software to copy the drive system restore
no longer works. i get the send error message when i
click on details i get the following message.

Jerry, go to maxtor's site and see if there's a conflict with maxblast
and system restore. Also check here
