I have my laptop hard disk partitioned into three partitions, C, D, & E
where C is the only one using NTFS - the other drives (D & E) are FAT32.

System Restore in WinXP is available on all drives while my Vista setup
on the laptop shows that only the C drive can have System Restore on or
off under the System Protection section.

Not only that but there is no option to set the desired amount of disk
space for SR to use.

Are these limitations of SR under Vista or are these settings able to be
changed?

Thanks, Fred

System restore isn't of much - if any - use on anything other than
your system drive.

Unless they fixed it with SP1, dual booting XP/Vista would delete the
restore points whenever you booted XP...

DDW,

Thanks for the info and you're right, I had SR set to OFF on my XP
system but was wondering why those drives did not appear.

Thanks for the link - I will check it out.
