George

I have lost my system restore and have had a bunch of
suggestions on how to get it back, none of which I seem
to be able to get to work. I have ALS (Lou Gehrigs
disease) and if I could get around and could afford it I
think I would take this out and get it fixed. I am
running XP Pro and because I do a lot of work for the ALS
Society in Canada I had a 10gb drive and added another
40gb so my "C" drive is now a spare with 10gb and "E" is
my main drive. I noticed that windows is installed on
both of them. Is there any way that I can back up my
files and just reinstall XP? Most of my ALS stuff I do
already have on a CD or CDs. Now could I put the rest of
my files on my C drive and delete Windows off E and
reinstall or is this not possible. Any and all help
would be greatly appreciated. If you would prefer to use
my email above by all means do so. Because of my
disability I am rather slow at doing things with the
keyboard etc. Thank you.

I understand you would like to know whether you can back
up your files and reinstall Windows XP and delete off the
windows application from E drive.

George, you can back up your files on CD and then
reinstall Windows XP on C drive. You can also uninstall
the windows application from E drive once you have the
Windows XP working on C drive to your satisfaction. But,
please do remember to back up all your work before you do
the unistallation.

I hope this would resolve your issue.
