I have tried to do a system restore on my laptop. After I installed Norton
360, I started having problems. The system is extremely slow, locks up, etc.
I have uninstalled the program and cannot restore any point. I have gone
back as far as October with no success and have tried in safe mode. I am
running Windows XP Professional, preinstalled on my computer. I have the
recovery disks if I need to turn it back to it's orginal state. I hate to do
that because it is so time consuming to reload my programs and then set up
my wireless network again. Just seems like too much work to get the computer
running smoothly again. I have run scans and don't have any viruses, worms,
trojans, spyware, etc. Any suggestions? Also, is it possible to upgrade to
Windows Vista, which I like better. I know that all computers are not "Vista
Ready". My laptop is just a little over a year old.
