Hi
I was advised it was safe to delete a *.dll that came up as an Active X and that it would be fine. Well my computer started acting up so I tried to use System Restore and it kept saying System Restore did not make any changes to your syster and I tried multiple dates to no avail. So today I used my 3 Quick Restore CD's and reinstalled windows back to factory standards. I have been slowly adding things and decided I wanted to go back to where I was a few hours ago and clicked a specific restore point and to my surprise the system AGAIN would NOT restore to previous checkpoint. I went to "help and support center" and found a listing mentioning this problem but there were NO remedies or links or anything in the article. Can anyone help me
