You should post this to a Windows group or a Mac group (if you have a Mac)
or an iTunes group (if there is one). This is a .Net Programming group.
When you re-post it, give them more information about what crashed about
your computer. Is it the hard drive, is it just not running right, etc.
After one of my friends lost their iTunes folder when her hard drive
crashed,
I started backing up my iTunes folder (all 70GB of it) to two separate
external
hard drives. (Two, because one failed and I had to replace it, and I'm
paranoid.)
Because I feel your pain, here's some free advice: Go out and buy Tune
Transfer. You can run this software to pull the music off of your iPod and
put it
back on your computer. Do it before connecting your iPod to iTunes with a
blank
library, because it will erase everything on your iPod if you connect it to
your
computer with iTunes with a blank library.
