Hi,

Firstly thank you for reading my problem, I greatly
appreciate your time.

I am having a hardware/os related problem. Whenever I
start to work with intense programes (Like Age Of
Mythology, Adobe Premiere, Adboe Photoshop .etc.,.) my
system becomes quite unstable and then just restarts. It
happens quite often, almost everytime I run a big
application or I give my PC something big to do (Like
sort my mp3 list into alphabetical order). It's almost as
if someone has pushed the restart button on me. Any
idea's?

Anthony.

Check the tempurature of your system. There are many programs that will do
this. If you have an ASUS motherboard, there will be a program called ASUS
Probe on the CD that came with the board. If your temp is high, does your
case allow for good airflow? Do you have enough fans? Are your cables a mess
anc blocking airflow? Is dust covering your components?

Hello,

You need to give us alittle more information about your
computer. What kind of computer, Windows Version, amount
of RAM, ETC.

I do know that Windows XP HATES Memory SIMMs/DIMMs that
aren't identical. Once it uses all of the first one, it
crashes. Especially SIMMs.

you might also try this - tho it may not fix the
whole problem - ie
go start/right click - my computer/properties/
go - advanced tab/startup and recovery section/
go - settings/system failure section/
go - deselect - automatically restart/
go ok/
go apply/
and take it fr there

hth God Bless hutch
