System restart message

When accessing the the internet or e-mail via the internet
after a short while I get a "System Shut Down message.
The Message is "Windows must now restart because the
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated
unexpectively".
The OS is Windows XP with Service pack 1a installed
can anyone help with this problem.

You likely have the Blaster virus. Here you go:

You should keep your windows updtates current and you must use an anti
virus program with current virus definitions.
